CBSE Results : How to get name-wise result?

Have you forgot your Roll no. and lost your admit card? Do you want to know the results of your friend without knowing his/her Roll no. or Date of Birth? Then here is your solution.

  • Click on the option "School Wise Result" just below the header of result declaration. Here I am providing you an example of Class 10 result 2015.

  • A new page opens up and would appear somewhat like this :

  • The page will ask for the following details : Class, Affiliation Code, School Code and Email ID.

  • Affiliation Code and School Code : These are the unique codes of each school. For example, if you belong to DPS RK Puram then you have to enter the Affiliation code and School Code of DPS RK Puram to see the name-wise result. These codes are really easy to get and you don't have to even contact your school to do so. Just Google "Your school name<space>City<space>codes". You will get hundreds of result. Just open the page of sulekha.com. Sulekha has codes of almost all the schools. Here is a sample (Click to enlarge).

  • Affiliation code is a seven digit code and school code is five digit code. You have to remove the state initials from the center code to get the school code. For example, if the center code is DL01851 then the school code is 01851.

  • Once you got the affiliation code and school code enter them along with your Email ID. Enter the security code correctly and done. The results of all the candidates of that school would be mailed to your Email ID in the form of a text document.

  • Check your email and download the text attachment. Now open it in a simple text editor like notepad. The names of the candidates along with their marks, grades and roll no. would be displayed. Use Ctrl+F to search for the name that you want.

  • CBSE's Disclaimer :  Neither NIC nor CBSE is responsible for any inadvertent error that may have crept in the results being published on NET. The results published on net are for immediate information to the examinees. These cannot be treated as original mark sheets. Original mark sheets will be issued by the Board separately.
  • Do not use the school wise result for public display purpose. It is only for your own personal use.
  •  CBSE releases school-wise results every year. The policies might undergo a change.
